a handmade Christmas: DIY Christmas Wreath

How many of you have had a wreath sitting in your Christmas tote for 5+ years? I do! I bought this one the year before Mr. Christoper and I were married. I still love the bright red berries that grabbed my eye 7 years ago but I have to admit that this year when I hung it up I was a little... bored.

I didn't want to give it away just yet, because I do love it, but I wanted to add a little something to make it more unique and more me. So here's a quick and easy way to update a wreath!

I used card stock, baker's twine, a glitter marker and small clothes pins.

It was all supplies I already had, so I didn't have to spend a dime. But even if you do, the supplies are pretty affordable! (And you can use them for gift wrap, too)!

And here's how it actually looks hanging on that front screen door of mine.

Honey approves. (And I really need to get rid of that pumpkin)!
