tutorial tuesday + a GIVEAWAY

Today is a great day for a tutorial. Ain't it?

So I am going to show you how to make mini rose earrings (like above) from embellishments. Embellishments are used for scrapbooking mostly, but they can be used for many different things. They're very simple to make and super cheap too!

Here we go:
(I bought mine at Michaels when they were 50% off. I got this little pack above for $1.50).

(What is that sticky stuff, anyway)?
Earring gadgets and gizmos can be bought at most craft supply stores. My favorite place to get them is Hobby Lobby. Most craft stores have two sizes. The posts I used above are the smaller version. There are large posts that I prefer to use on bigger earrings. These little rosettes are just too small for the bigger ones.
 And you're done!
(Don't forget to remove the glue).

Then if you have enough, make more for your friends!

Because I have so many left over and because I am headed to the post office tomorrow morning anyway, I'd love to GIVE AWAY a pair to one of you!

Leave a comment below or on facebook and I'll randomly draw a name tonight to be mailed tomorrow. Be sure to tell me which color you prefer, salmon or orange.

Have a great Tuesday!
