thrift my junk: old frames

Welp, it's Friday, which means it's time to thrift my junk. Aw, yeah.
First on my list are a bunch of old frames. I'm not really sure why, but I'm a sucker for an antique or junky frame. I see one on the street (okay, not really the street) or at a thrift store and I think: "I want that. That's cheap. I can always use old frames."

But can you?

Well, today it's time to put my junk to rest by following through and creating something new.
mix-matched 5x7 and 4x6 frames
location: craft room closet
doing nothing
taking up s.p.a.c.e.
more closely matched, white spray-painted frames
location: upstairs loft, on mr. christopher's side of the bed
showcasing: a postcard collection

Mr. christopher and I began this postcard collection back in the summer of 2010 when we visited my family in WA and Mt. Rainer. We bought this one. And then we decided to buy a postcard for every national park that we had been to together like this one and others. (And we hope to continue this tradition because I just want all of them! ... And we want to go to all of the parks too).

[Have I mentioned before that we'd like to visit all the US National Parks at some point in our lives?]
[We do.]

Here are some views:

That's my junk for the week.
I am feeling (somewhat) accomplished.

Is there something that you have been wanting to do but (like me) have had trouble getting around to doing? Maybe a craft? A project? A home DIY idea?
Share your idea with me! I'd love to encourage you.
And, I do love you comments.
Happy Friday!

Haha, me too, me too:) And I love what you've done with these and how the prints tie them all together again.

I have some frames and prints stashed up as well, but I can't wait to hang them when I move next month:)
