crochet experimentation

My balls 'o yarn

A craft night.
A break in the week.
With a few of my favorite girls.

Libby worked on a needlepoint bracelet that she was given for a sweet sixteen present and is reinventing it to something new.

Kirstin made some headbands for a girly student.
(headbands purchased at target, flowers made from felt)

I crocheted flowers, an experiment I have been subjecting myself to lately. I'm following instructions from a book I checked out from the library last November, Crochet Adorned by Linda Permann. I've just been renewing every two weeks. It's really good at giving step-by-step directions that are surprisingly easy to follow from a book.

It was a relaxing fun night with tea and cookies;
we are really the perfect grandmas.

Wow, I can't believe how much my hat has inspired you and your other crafty friends! Lots of people have the infamous felt flower now! :) I love it though. And I love the crocheted flowers too! You'll have to show me how to do those!
